One of the few Anambas Archipelago islands that actually has a structure that's permanently occupied, Pulau Nongkat lies surrounded by 3 nearby islands and a number of huge boulder formations.
In fact, the buildings erected on Nongkat are quite exceptional in quality, as well as visually striking. Living here, immersed by Nongkat's rugged beauty must be an absolute treat.
Not only does Nongkat's position lend it countless panoramas that need to be seen to be believed, but the waters around Nongkat are also rendered as good as perennially calm, courtesy of its neighbors.
But as if being locationally and orientationally blessed isn't enough, Pulau Nongkat also features dense tropical forest, coconut trees galore and offers a lovely shallow water beach, with white sand that resembles powder sugar.
That being said, should you wish to take a look at Pulau Nongkat, please note that a visit to Pulau Nongkat needs to be preceded by prior permission from the island's occupants.
