"Sail Anambas" as it's known locally, is the Tarempa leg of the "Passage to the East", part of the annual Sail Malaysia Rally that had its inaugural edition in 2005.

In 2015, Anambas and Natuna were added to the list of Sail Malaysia destinations and since this decision was met with great success by organizers and participants alike, the two newcomers were retained for the 2016 edition. Given the great added value offered by these two archipelagos, they've now become permanent Sail Malaysia/Sail Anambas waypoints.

In fact, given that the number of participating yachts increases every year, you can safely forecast a great future for Sail Anambas and the Anambas islands.

During Sail Anambas there's a true rainbow of yachts anchored in the Tarempa Bay. It's a wonderful sight. And naturally, everyone has great time.
