Blessed with gin-clear shallow water all around the island. Pulau Temawan is one of the Tarempa inhabitants' favorites when going for a weekend get-away. A mere half an hour way from Tarempa by speedboat, Pulau Temawan has the appearance of a little paradise atoll, surrounded as it is by coral stretches.

Apart from snorkeling, swimming, SUP and kayaking, Temawan is also an ideal location for a family picnic or BBQ, because there is plenty of shade, courtesy of the lush canopy above.

Sometimes referred to as Pulau Temuang, Pulau Temawan is considered an absolute must-see-must-do when doing a Tour d'Anambas.
